Gato’s home page has no signup form or analytics. Hosting providers process technical request information to deliver and secure these websites.

If you choose the optional signup after the Gato game, we collect your email address, signup page, consent and date to send bonus content, games and book news. Consent is the basis for those emails. You can withdraw it using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us.

We use hosting, database and email providers to process information for us. We do not sell your email address. Where processing takes place outside the UK, applicable data protection safeguards are required.

We keep signup information while you remain subscribed or as needed to honour your preferences and legal obligations. You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or a copy of your information, or object to processing where applicable. You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Game guesses and scores are saved on your device. Reset game clears that progress. Game progress is not sent to the signup database. No account is required.
